About Kim Houlahan
A marketing consultant with over 30 years of experience, The Houlahan Group founder Kim Houlahan works with small businesses leaders (non-profit leaders and solo professionals) as their virtual marketing department.
With a focus on helping her clients make more money by improving the relationships they have with their clients, Kim’s past and current work includes strategic & tactical marketing communications specializing in online marketing: writing, branding, marketing coaching, photography, website development, email marketing, and social media. She has worked with a wide range of successful companies and organizations including, Laura Gatien & Associates, JUST US Inc., Vision Coaching, Cochran’s Country Market, The University of New Brunswick, The National Museum of Science & Technology, Crosby’s Molasses, Imperial Theatre, Landing Clinic, Shadow Lawn Inn, and Town Health Solutions. Recently, she has been volunteering her time at the North End Food Bank as their virtual marketing department, increasing the awareness and building support for the programs and needs of this vital organization. Kim developed the website, has regular marketing sessions with the executive director, created an email marketing program aimed at donors and community supporters, and she posts content regularly through their social media channels to keep the community informed and engaged. Kim has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography*) from the University of Ottawa. When she’s not keeping up with the ever-changing world of online marketing, Kim is playing hockey with the Moms in Gear, searching for outdoor open ice, kayaking in the off-season, driving back and forth between Saint John & Ottawa regularly and relishing the empty nest. |
